SCEP priority is to improve the health status of women, children and adolescent girls. In 23 villages of Amrabad, Uppanuntala and Kondurg mandals the organization initiated various health programs

SCEP has identified 2 HIV positive persons in the 36 villages and providing them nutritional food, linked them to HIV service providers in the district.

Initially health camps were conducted in 27 villages where private Medical Practitioners and Government. During these medical and health camps all women, elders and adolescent girls were checked with general health care, provided free medicines,  and referred to District Head quarter hospitals. In all 27 villages 307 were checked, provided medical help.

The organization conducted regular health awareness camps for women and adolescent girls on reproductive health care, anemia control, age at marriage, pre natal care, ante natal care and prevention from HIV. All these camps were conducted with the help of Health Assistant, Anganwadi worker. In 37 villages spread in Kondurg, Farookhnagar and Achampet mandals. 

SCEP conducted eye camps in 44 villages of Amrabad, Achampet, Uppanuntala and Kondurg mandals. 402 elders were tested, provided with spectacles. SCEP approached philanthropists in supporting elders with spectacles and could arrange the same to all 402 elders.

Vitamin A deficiency is one of the dreaded ailments which leave children with vision problems. It is a very simple process in preventing eye problems among children by administering Vitamin A solution. Government is supplying the solution for free of cost which could be easily administered. In spite of all these provisions the ailments related to Vitamin A deficiency still exist in rural areas. SCEP has conducted various activities in this regard. The awareness campaign was taken up in the villages of Uppanuntala, Amrabad and Kondurg mandals. Vitamin A has been provided to children around Anganwadi centers. Anganwadi workers, Health Assistants were trained in administering Vitamin A. Ensured proper supply of Vitamin A in 67 AWCs in above mentioned 3 mandals and provided the solution to 598 children in the age group of 0-5 years.
